DaVinci Sub Editor is a subtitle editing and AI translation tool built for DaVinci Resolve.
It lets you browse and edit subtitles on the active timeline, search for specific terms, batch find and replace repeated text, and translate subtitles into other languages directly inside Resolve. You can keep subtitle editing, proofreading, and translation in one workflow without repeatedly switching to external tools.
What problem does it solve?
Long-form interviews, courses, documentaries, and multilingual deliverables often require subtitle proofreading, terminology cleanup, and multiple language versions.
When subtitle content is spread across many clips, manual line-by-line editing is slow and easy to miss. Translating the subtitles can add another layer of copying, switching tools, and reformatting.
DaVinci Sub Editor brings subtitle editing, search, batch replacement, and AI translation into one focused workflow inside DaVinci Resolve.
